When photovoltaic panels from China capture hot sunshine on the edge of the Sahara Desert, when wind turbines made in China rotate in the wind on the grasslands of Kazakhstan, and low-carbon railways built by Chinese companies leave dedicated channels for Kenyan wildlife-these vivid pictures are outlining a sustainable development path that transcends traditional development models.

From local practice to global contribution, China is taking solid actions to prove that green transformation is not only an inevitable choice to deal with the climate crisis, but also a historical opportunity to create new growth momentum. Its results are crossing national borders and benefiting the world.

As the world's largest developing country, China's commitment to achieve the "double carbon" goal is itself a huge contribution to global climate governance. What is more global is that China has transformed green development concepts, technologies, products and experiences into accessible global public goods through multilateral platforms and bilateral cooperation.

The Belt and Road Initiative has become an important carrier for spreading green seeds. In May 2017, President Xi Jinping pointed out at the first "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum: "We must practice the new concept of green development, advocate green, low-carbon, circular and sustainable production and lifestyle, and strengthen ecological and environmental protection. Cooperate, build ecological civilization, and jointly achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals." Five years later, the "Opinions on Promoting the Green Development of the Belt and Road Initiative" proposed a grand blueprint for basically forming a green development pattern by 2030. Green has become the distinctive background of the Belt and Road Initiative.

In the field of green infrastructure, China's practice provides a model for the world. Pakistan's China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project uses wind and solar energy on a large scale and is expected to reduce carbon by about 2 million tons per year; Kenya's Mombasa-Nairobi Railway has a dedicated wildlife migration channel to achieve a balance between development and protection; Laos Nam Mang River 1 Hydropower Station generates 225 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, provides green electricity to more than 100,000 households, and reduces carbon emissions by 750,000 tons per year... These projects not only solve the people's livelihood pain point of the host country's "difficulty and expensive electricity", but also protect the earth's homeland with tangible emission reduction effects.

China's new energy products have become an important support for global energy transformation. The export of wind power and solar power products covers more than 200 countries and regions. The output of wind power parts and components accounts for more than 70% of the world, and all links of the photovoltaic industry chain account for more than 75% of the world. Behind these figures is a complete industrial chain and leading technology. and continued innovation vitality. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the wind power and photovoltaic products exported by China reduced carbon emissions by about 4.1 billion tons for other countries.

In terms of technical cooperation and capacity building, China also spares no effort. Through platforms such as the Belt and Road Initiative and the International Alliance of Scientific Organizations, China shares environmental protection, ecological restoration, and clean energy technologies with the co-construction countries. Moreover, China has also signed more than 50 South-South cooperation documents on climate change with 42 developing countries, providing and mobilizing more than 177 billion yuan in funds to help improve emission reduction capabilities.

What is even more commendable is that China is promoting innovation in the global ecological governance system. The "Belt and Road" Green Development Index launched has been incorporated into the evaluation system of more than 40 countries and has become an important reference standard for the United Nations Environment Program, promoting the construction of global ecological civilization. A new mechanism for index consultation, joint research on strategies, and joint evaluation of effectiveness.

In Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone, the China-Egypt TEDA Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone is being transformed into a green park. Cooperation between the two sides in fields such as photovoltaics, wind power, and desalination has injected green momentum into desert oases. Such "small but beautiful" projects are the epitome of a series of green growth paths that are in line with the national conditions and needs of countries in the global South-they can be learned from, replicated, and operable.

From the summit of Yunnan's mountains to the Sahara Desert, from the coast of the East China Sea to the coast of the Persian Gulf, China's green development practice is extending to all corners of the world, transforming the challenge of climate change into opportunities for energy transformation and development, and transforming concepts into Action, turning solos into a symphony. Practice has proved that green transformation is not only an opportunity for China to achieve a leap in national strength, but also contains the core of global governance initiatives, helping to deepen mutual trust and understanding among countries and regain mutually beneficial cooperation.

It is better to teach people to fish than to teach people to fish. At Jiuquan Vocational and Technical University, 22 international students from Southeast Asia are learning new energy knowledge. These young people take classes and practical training in wind farms, truly feel the speed of new energy development, and are also gradually paving the way for energy transformation that belongs to Southeast Asian countries. As Philippine student Li Hena said: "In China, there are not only towering towers, blades and power grids running thousands of miles, but also the intersection of knowledge, trust, cooperation and education."

The China-ASEAN Energy Academy was established in Nanning, Guangxi, building an important platform for the two sides to cultivate energy talents and exchange technology. This newly built cross-border learning bridge provides international students with more opportunities for study and exchange and helps them learn China's new knowledge and technologies in the field of energy and power.

In addition, as new energy projects undertaken by China companies have taken root overseas, China masters have trained local workers "one-on-one" and "hands-on", and there are countless cases of improving their vocational skills.

Those who have the same aspirations do not regard mountains and seas as far away. Faced with the severe challenge of global climate change, China has injected certain green momentum into the uncertain world with its responsibility and responsibility. This development path of harmonious coexistence between man and nature not only illuminates the direction of China's move forward, but also provides valuable reference for the world, especially developing countries. Protecting the ecological environment and developing the economy can go hand in hand. Behind the green transformation is a higher quality, more sustainable growth future. In the common home of mankind on earth, China's green practices are transforming into surging driving forces that benefit the world and promote the construction of a beautiful world in which man and nature coexist harmoniously.
